Pricing
Finding and scoring grants is free forever. Writing them is what you pay for, and it costs less per application here than anywhere we can find.
What free actually includes
Not a trial. No card.
- Winnability scoring on every federal, foundation and corporate grant
- The eligibility check, including what is closed to you
- Award-history receipts — who won each program before, and for how much
- Foundation matching from IRS 990-PF filings
- Deadline tracking, email alerts and the calendar subscription
- 5 searches a month, 1 client organization
The plans

Both plans are also sold yearly — $790 and $1,990, which works out at two months free. Cancel any time.
What that looks like next to the rest of the category
| Tool | Entry price | Free tier | In one line |
|---|---|---|---|
| Instrumentl | $299/mo billed annually ($349 monthly) | No free tier — 14-day trial | Discovery and post-award for established nonprofit teams. The entry tier does not write. |
| Quillify | $99/mo (Access), $250 (Pro), $750 (Max) | Pay-as-you-go credits | Credit-metered. A federal proposal runs about 500 credits, which is $250 at their own per-credit rate. |
| MCGrantz | $79/mo (Pro), $199 (Agency) | Free forever, no card | 25 AI applications a month on Pro, unlimited on Agency. |
Prices read off each vendor's own live pricing page on 15 September 2026. They change — check before you decide, and tell us if one of these is wrong and we will fix it.
Where somebody else is the better buy
If you run an established development team that needs post-award compliance reporting, spend-down management and deep team permissions, Instrumentl is built for that and we are not. If you want per-action metering so you pay only for what you run in a quiet month, Quillify's credit model does that and our flat plans do not. We would rather say so than have you find out after paying.
What we will not do
- Charge you to find out what you are not eligible for. That answer is free and always will be.
- Invent a grant, a deadline or an amount to fill a results page.
- Publish a customer quote we cannot stand behind.
