The part most grant sites will not tell you

Most of the money in our catalogue is closed to you. Of 77 programmes, 12 are open outside the United States — the rest are US-only, because American private foundations overwhelmingly fund US charities and federal grants require US registration. Showing you the other 65 would waste your time, so MCGrantz gates on where you are and says plainly what is shut.

Of the 9 open to Europe, 2 are specific to the region and the rest are worldwide. Several are scouted rather than applied to — the funder finds you — and each listing says which, because "apply" and "wait to be found" are not the same instruction.
